Where would we be without the British Forces?

When I was at school (don’t ask how many years ago that was!) I did, very briefly, consider a career in the army as a dog handler – only to realise that it wasn’t just about doing assault courses and training a dog to be mighty clever but that it was also extremely dangerous and I don’t even like balloons in case they go pop! I’m not the greatest dog trainer either – my 4 year old Labrador Retriever has only just grasped the fact that when she retrieves a ball it’s rather a good idea if she puts it down…
