Riley - Birthday treat

"I wanted to do something special for my husband's 60th birthday and went through all the usual ideas but nothing seemed "right".
Hot Air Balloon Ride...Scared of Heights!
Train Driver for the day?...Nah!
Boat on the Thames at Henley?...Don't like boats
Big Family Party?...Too much hassle
So it went on..and on...and on..
Then a chance article in a national newspaper led me indirectly to Vanilla Classics PERFECT!
But what car?
After a visit to see the cars for himself he chose the Riley RMD.
O, what a day we had! This, for someone used to the pampered cars of today, was an experience of what actually "driving a car" really felt like.
The car was beautifully turned out, chrome shining and paintwork gleaming and we felt priviledged to be given the opportunity to take her out for the day.
Little boys waved at us and the car received many admiring looks. (Not us..the car!) We felt very special and it was definately the right choice, the best present, that I could have given to my husband. It wasn't a passive experience, it was a full on whole body workout, both mentally and physically and enjoyed to the full. Thanks to everyone at Vanilla Classics for making all this possible and the memories that we have taken along with us will last for a very long time to come. Much better than a balloon ride!
