From Switzerland, to Paris, to England!

Posted by @ 13:29 25th Jul 2013

One of our recent hires travelled from Switzerland to Paris to join friends before coming over by Ferry to hire the Jaguar Mk2 and AC Cobra. From here in West Sussux they then took to the B roads and country lanes of the Isle of Wight.

We had great fun communicating with Gilbert and were delighted to receive the following Email from him. Even though his written English is rather broken we hope that you, just as we did, can feel his enthusiasm about driving these fantastic classic cars.

Hello Claire,

It is now ten days since we returned from England.
Vanilla Classics has enabled us to live great moments the flying car that marked the automotive legend and always perfectly groomed. Also thank you to all the team Vanilla Classics for its hospitality and trust. She made us discover two completely different philosophies cars and the opposite one another.

Namely: one that expresses the class, elegance and distinction throughout Columbia with 12 cylinders at once creamy and sports, in a word well-born Jaguar and very noticeable.

Other: brute force, voice and raw temperament of a bad boy he must master without fear and without that support relaxation of any kind ... a true American Cobra.

But all the two were very exciting because unlike today's cars it does not behave but they fly!

Today we know that we will return for a new adventure with them.

But we will wait for it to open the airline EasyJet 's 2014 Geneva - Bournemouth BOH.

We will contact you at that time and maybe by then Vanilla Classics has expanded its range of service with the opportunity to rent their vehicles for a week with unlimited mileage which we consider to go to Lizard Point and Land's End by small roads we already know!

Meanwhile I address you, dear Claire, and which the whole team Vanilla Classics best regards and a fun souvenir photo attached.
