700 miles, 5 days and 1 AC Cobra

We just received this lovely email from Switzerland after Daniel spent 5 days on the road with the AC Cobra. As always we are thrilled to hear back from our customers, especially when our cars inspire them to want to sell something as racey as their Lotus Exige - maybe he will the next time he hires from us!

"I've enjoyed it so much to drive the Cobra, and we really did lots of miles (700 miles in 5 days). And every mile was SPECIAL! First, it was very different, the car really is special in every way. Nothing near what I've ever driven before - and I've driven Lotus, Morgan and many other classics before. With every mile more, I got more confident and got used to the car, and to how it behaves. Soon after a couple of hours, it was pure joy for the rest of the trip!

The sound it makes is a huge concert. It's rock, it's punk, it's opera. And I'm the conductor with the throttle. Fantastic. Shifting gears and the steering is brutal, it's pure 70s engineering, and in every way a demanding but wonderful and unforgettable experience.

This car has a soul, it has drama, it has beauty, it has ecstasy, it's a pure legend. It's dangerous too, because it's addictive! It's so addictive that I even wanted to sell my Lotus Exige S1 after our return to Switzerland. Thankfully my wife talked me out of this ;-)

My wife was a fantastic navigator (and a fantastic wife as always ;-)) and she did enjoy the trip as much as I did. What a happy week that was for us!

My conclusion for any future customer: If you are a petrol head and if you have any chance to afford to drive this car, even if it's only for a day or two, do it. No regret, I promise!

My bottom line is: forget the 'plant a tree, have a child, write a book' - stuff. No. Look no further. Drive this car!
