When it was introduced, the MGB was real head turner. It used a monocoque structure to reduce weight and add strength, so had real lively performance, and innovative features for the day including a crumple zone! It was an immediate success – over 500,000 were built altogether. It was never going to set speed records, but it totally fitted in with the spirit of the late 60’s/early 70’s and became a true British icon.

Simply the finest example of this British Classic you’re ever likely to see. An absolutely stunning ground up restoration has just been completed, and our beautiful Sky Blue MGB looks and feels like a brand new car. With the update of a 5 speed gearbox (rather than the finicky overdrive) and the legendary MGB handling, it’s a great car to drive and the 1.8 engine delivers plenty of oomph. Chrome bumpers, wire wheels and new mohair hood all complement the authenticity and we truly don’t think you’ll find a cleaner, tidier and prettier example. This car is great fun to drive - ideal for a weekend getaway for two.
